Membership Information at LIttle Crow Archers
Little Crow Archers of Willmar is an organization dedicated to promoting the sport of archery and bow hunting. Our indoor archery range is home to some of the finest shooters in the state and many state record holders. We are here to help the novice or advanced archer improve their shooting abilities. Our facilities (indoor and outdoor) are made available to many youth organizations for teaching the basics of archery and to let them shoot just for fun. For the kids just beginning, we can even provide youth bows for them to use while at the range. We also have several NASP (National Archery in Schools Program) Certified level 1 & level 2 instructors. We have updated our indoor range with new lighting and Spyderweb bales, in addition; our club has expanded our inventory of Rinehart® 3-D animal targets and redesigned our outdoor range. We are excited about these changes and hope you will enjoy them. Indoor leagues begin approximately the first week of January and run until April. There is a target league for shooters that want to sharpen their archery expertise and bow-hunter league for those wanting to improve on their hunting skills and a new Vegas league. All leagues are scored with a handicap system to allow beginning shooters to compete equally with the more experienced shooters. A spring 3-D league is offered @ April/May of each year along with spring and fall 3-D shoots for those looking to experience the outdoors. Your annual membership fee includes a key to the indoor range. This allows you 24-hour access to the indoor range, allowing you to shoot at your convenience (except during posted tournaments and events). With this privilege comes the personal responsibility to follow all posted rules and respect the range as your own. Reminder: Absolutely NO Broadhead’s allowed at any of the ranges. Failure to act responsibly will result in a loss of your membership privileges. LCA also publishes a bi-monthly newsletter for members. You also become a member of the MSAA (Minnesota State Archery Association), and as a member of the MSAA you will receive “The Minnesota Arrow” magazine. This bi-monthly publication keeps you in touch with other MN archers and clubs along with upcoming events. Please attend our annual Open House in December or contact a member of our board team to learn more and get involved with our great organization.
